| Term | Meaning | |---|---| | Allocate / allocation | Reserving stock for a specific sales order so it is not promised to anyone else. | | Available | On hand, less what is allocated or committed, plus anything the company has chosen to count (in-transit, pending returns). | | Behavior (status) | What a status means to Invatrak, such as Approved or Shipped, regardless of its name. | | Bin | A storage place inside a location, such as a shelf or rack position. | | COD / Net terms | Terms that let a ship doc ship before it is paid. The terms name decides this. | | Connection | A link to an outside service (QuickBooks, ShipStation, a card processor, a web store, and so on). Connections count toward your plan. | | Custom field | A field your company adds to a record or document. | | DKIM / SPF | DNS records that prove your domain allows Invatrak to send email for it. | | Drop ship | An order the vendor ships straight to your customer. | | FIFO / LIFO | First in, first out / last in, first out: which receipts' cost is used first when stock is sold. | | Landed cost | Extra costs such as freight and duty added to the cost of received goods. | | Location | A warehouse or other place stock is kept. | | Lot / serial | A batch number (lot) or a unique unit number (serial) tracked on stock. | | On order | Quantity on purchase orders not yet received. | | Passkey | A sign-in method using your device's fingerprint, face, or PIN instead of a password. | | Posting item | A QuickBooks item that stands in for many Invatrak items on invoices and bills. | | Price level | A pricing tier for customers, such as Distributor, with a percent off or specific prices. | | Profile list | A pick-list such as terms, reasons, or ship via methods. | | Promise date | The date you have promised to ship or receive an order. | | Receiver | The document that records goods arriving against a purchase order. | | Role | A named set of rights given to users. | | Sandbox | A test mode in which no real money moves or real shipments are made. | | Ship doc | The document that ships goods for a sales order; once shipped it is the invoice. | | Sync queue | The list of records waiting to be sent to QuickBooks. | | Webhook | A message sent automatically to another system's web address when something happens. |
